Sharron began her career in 1978 as a realtor. She joined the Colonial team as a closer in 1981 and moved to processing loans two years later. She soon became a loan officer and later the branch manager. She left Colonial for a few years, but returned in 2002 to once again serve as a loan officer and branch manager.

Sharron has been married to her husband Dennis for 38 years. Together they have two children and live in Fort Worth.
