Eligible borrowers at the time of application must be: Classroom teachers, paid teacher’s aide, school librarian, school nurse or a school counselor certified under Subchapter B of the Texas Education Code. Must be employed by a public school district (ISD). Employees of private schools or universities are not eligible. A Texas resident on the mortgage loan application date.
