Texas Professional Educators Home Loan Program

The Professional Educators Home Loan Program provides professional educators the benefit of a special rate for eligible professional educators.
Eligible borrowers at the time of application must be:
- Classroom teachers, paid teacher’s aide, school librarian, school nurse or a school counselor certified under Subchapter B of the Texas Education Code.
- Must be employed by a public school district (ISD). Employees of private schools or universities are not eligible.
- A Texas resident on the mortgage loan application date.
- Occupy the newly purchased home as primary resident.
- Employment must be documented by current paystubs and verbal or written Verification of Employment stating that the borrower is working 40 hours per week or full-time.
